The 501st UK Garrison were deployed at the weekend to Nonsuch Park Epsom to monitor the crowds at the country show and dog show.

No Rebels were found.

Following on from a recent induction into the Legion Honorary membership, for Alan Austen, we would like to welcome John Mogridge into the 501st Legion as an honorary member.

John will probably be best remembered and identified from the carbon freezer chamber scene , where John and fellow TK - Alan Austen, place 'Han Solo' (Harrison Ford) into the freezing chamber for the infamous bounty hunter to take with him.

We are grateful for all that you have done for the Star Wars Universe, we are proud to welcome you into our 501st Legion family.

Back after a 2 year break, the 501st UK Garrison was invited to support a family day at Festival Leisure Park BASILDON.

Troopers proved that during the hot weather imperial armour can cope with all conditions.

TK-10962 of The UK Garrison was proud to induct the OG, the original stormtrooper TK 421 himself, Mr. Stephen Bayley as an Honorary 501st Legion member!
Stephen played a stormtrooper known as TK-421 in Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope. He also, in some shots of Darth Vader piloting his TIE Advanced, filled in for David Prowse as Vader's gloved hands.

Stephen, we are grateful for all that you have done for the Star Wars Universe, we are proud to welcome you into our 501st Legion family, and most of all, we thank you for staying at your post!

Troopers from the 501st UK Garrison were deployed to protect the annual Highclere Castle Easter Egg hunt in aid of the Murray Parish Trust. many eggs were collected. and consumed.

The 501st UK Garrison, together with giants of British motorsport returned to Brands Hatch on Easter Weekend for two days of supersized entertainment on the Indy circuit in 2022.
