Today the UK Garrison celebrates our 22nd anniversary with the 501st Legion.

On 23rd March 2000 we became part of the 501st Legion, the worldwide Star Wars costuming club, joining their ranks and becoming one Legion.

Since our initial 10 members, we have grown to be over 500 members strong!

The UK Garrison were asked to help celebrate Down Syndrome Awareness week, with Portsmouth DSA hosting a T21 walk

Lord Vader was most pleased with the attendance.

Troopers from the UK Garrison had a great day at TKMaxx Maidstone even though it rained most of the day.

£145 for Red Nose Day!!

Troopers from the UK Garrison were deployed to TXMAXX in Basingstoke in order to ensure the safety of Comic Relief Red Nose day collections. Over the two days of deployment a total of £329.76 was raised.

Lord Vader and Troopers attended TXMAXX in Folkstone in order to ensure Comic Relief Red Nose day collections were conducted in a happy manner. Local funds to a total of £157 were raised.

Troopers were deployed to TXMAXX in Cardiff in order to ensure the safety of Comic Relief Red Nose day collections and control a pack of Jawas. We helped to raise over £550 in the bucket collections.

Devon Comicon & Gaming Festival played host to members of the UK Garrison, Reel icons and Rebel Legion.

The two days were fun and several rebels were asked, but the missing cookies were not found.

Today is International Women's Day and the 501st UK Garrison, Reel Icons and Rebel Command are proud to have such a dedicated group of female costumers supporting not only our charities but other charities around the UK. Here is just a sample of some of our fantastic female costumers.

The UK Garrison were invited to help with the launch of 'May The Toys Be With You Exhibition' in Lichfield.

Despite the poor weather the crowds (and the Jawa) were kept under control and there was a surprise visit from Willie Coppen who played an Ewok in Return of the Jedi.
